Boxing OddsApril 3rd Boxing news ... boxing betting odds is a boxing bettor’s paradise, designed to have you consistently win your boxing wagers. Latest Boxing NewsUFC 118 Preview: Edger Vs Penn After the shocking outcome of the last UFC 112 championship UFC betting world is in lurch and amazed whether to place their bet on Penn, eight time UFC world champion or on Edgar, who defeated Penn in last UFC 112 event in April. The line at www.here has Penn as the current favorite at -300. Penn started his Brazilain Jiu Jitsu training under Ralph Garcie at the age of 17. Soon after entering into the World Jiu Jitsu championship he won black belt from Andrea Pederneiras and then bagged the gold medal from the World Jiu Jitsu championships in Rio de Janeiro with such an unbelievable speed that the Jiu Jitsu was given the nickname, The Prodigy. Penn is a trained MMA fighter. His strength and striking skills are enough for giving tough time to his opponents. He is blessed with unbelievable submission skills and legendary flexibility that gives him the intensity to translate his defeat into win in a flash of seconds. Penn possesses solid wrestling skills, takedown defense and excellent overall boxing qualities. His hands are electric fast and hits very hard. On the otherhand, Penn’s UFC 118 opponent, Frankie Edgar, cannot be considered less than Penn in any comparison. Frankie Edgar had proved that he is a tough competition for Penn by defeating Penn in UFC 112 championship in April 2010. Frankie Edgar is the reigning UFC lightweight champion and purple belt holder in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He had a record of eight undefeated streak of fights at a stretch. Edgar too possesses excellent takedown defense and ground control skills. He is technically a very sound boxer with high speed and toughness. The UFC 118 world championship will only decide whether winning of Edgar was fluke or he is the UFC’s new champion or the Prodigy would save his title and continue to rule the world of UFC. Let’s proceed towards the second set of players Randy Couture Vs. James Toney who will participate in the main card UFC 118 round. Both these players are in their forties and are from different types of games i.e. Randy Couture is the boxing champion and James Toney is an MMA champion. Though a UFC bout between two forty-year’s olds seems to be very uninteresting and very sluggish but these are not any ordinary forty-year’s old players these are the big names of their respective fields. The opening match will be played between Marcus Davis and Nate Diaz. Marcus Davis is known as the ‘Irish Hand Grenade’ who had exploded against Jonathan Goulet at UFC 113 on May8. Davis scored a technical knockout finish and snapped a rare two-fight losing skid. On the other hand, Davis’s opponent Diaz played impressively in his 117lb debut against Rory Markham and would try to establish himself in this category by defeating Davis. The UFC 118 championship seems to be very interesting and full of local flavor. This time it’s expected that the people of Boston would participate in higher number in UFC betting, as three of the UFC 118 payers are natives of Boston. UFC 116: George Sotiropolous vs. Kurt Pellegrino 2021-07-06 The two lightweights will make nfl football betting Online Bingo Rooms Play Bingo US for an interesting fight on July 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Both are small, of course. Kurt Pellegrino, a native of New Jersey, measures in at just 5 foot 8 and 155 pounds. George Sotiropolous, a native of Australia, also weighs in at 155 pounds but owns a two-inch height advantage at 5 foot 10. The two are also similarly aged. Sotiropolous, nicknamed “The Wizard of Oz”, has little training in wrestling but learned from some of the best MMA fighters in the field of Brazilian ju-jitsu, much to the joy of UFC betting. Pellegrino, on the other hand, has an extensive wrestling background but is also trained in Brazilian ju-jitsu. The two are each fairly new to the world of UFC, as Pellegrino first fought for the UFC in UFC 61 but didn’t earn his first win until UFC 64, and Sotiropolous first fought for the UFC in an April 2008 Fight Night event in which he TKO’ed Roman Mitichyan. Each of the two fighters’ overall MMA records are very solid, with Pellegrino holding a 21-4 overall record and Sotiropolous’ record a pristine 12-2. Pellegrino has won his last four fights, dating back to September 2008. Two of those victories came by the same form of submission, a rear naked choke that has become a specialty of Pellegrino’s. In Pellegrino’s ten-match UFC career, only three fights have gone the full final minutes — and he’s won two of them. Only one of Sotiropolous’ four bouts have gone the distance. So what can you expect out of the fight when Sotiropolous and Pellegrino meet on July 3? Two things. One, Pellegrino will attempt to wrestle his way out of everything Sotiropolous attempts. He has proven — especially in his fight against Josh “The Dentist” Neer last year — that he can withstand damage and outlast fighters, even when his effort is questionable as it was during that fight. And two, Sotiropolous will attempt just about everything, as he typically does in his bouts. The Australian fighter is just about as well-rounded as they come in UFC, and if past fights mean anything, it’s likely he will be able to find something that neutralizes Pellegrino’s wrestling and ju-jitsu focus. Essentially, expect the two fighters to be abnormally well-prepared to face each other, and expect Pellegrino to do his best to outsmart Sotiropolous, but Sotiropolous may just be the favorite because of his ability to pull a variety of moves out of his bag of tricks. UFC 116: Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama 2021-07-06 The second matchup of UFC 116 on July 3, 2010 will be an enticing battle between 33-year-old wunderkind Wanderlei Silva and 34-year-old Japanese middleweight and judo-master Yoshihiro Akiyama. UFC betting is keeping a close on these two older fighters. Both fighters are aging, but each of them is more than capable of providing exciting action in the ring. Silva will turn 34 on the day of the fight, but here’s what else to look for in the battle between Silva and Akiyama. Five years ago, Silva was at the top of his game, manhandling every fighter in PrideFC. But when he switched to UFC a while back, the transition didn’t go so well. Silva has now won only two of his last seven battles in the Octagon and only one of his six before he beat Michael Bisping at UFC 110. As for Akiyama, he hasn’t lost in five years. His last loss came in 2005 to Jerome LeBanner, and his current record is a sparkling 13-1. In February, White said that the battle would not just be looked forward to by fans but also by the actual fighters. “Akiyama wants to fight Wanderlei very bad,” White said. But instead of this battle being held in Japan — as was speculated to be a possibility by some media members and fans because of Akiyama’s roots and his known wishes to hold a fight there at some point — it will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas as a precursor to the Lesnar v. Carwin matchup. Who can you expect to win? That depends on what kind of style you expect to prevail. Will it be Silva’s frantic style, adjusting to a new weight class at 185 pounds? Or will it be Akiyama’s calm and calculated judo-style that prevails? Keep in mind that Silva will be more powerful than Akiyama. Silva typically weighs more than 200 for UFC fights while Akiyama has made his living at 185. That may mean that Silva won’t be as powerful as usual, but it will also likely mean that his stamina will be longer than usual — and that is a very good thing for Silva. Chris Tuchscherer and Brendan Schaub one on one at UFC 116 2021-06-18 The Ultimate Fighting Championships 116 to be held on July 3rd is full of action. The runner up of “Ultimate Fighter 10” Brendon Schaub is set to face his fellow heavy weight fighter Chris Tuchscherer. There is much anticipation over this fight as both the fighters are very promising and have already proven their skill to the whole world. The UFC 116 is also making headlines as Brock Lesnar who is the current heavy weight champion would be also in the ring against Shane Carwin. Lesnar is clearly the favorite of this fight and viewers all across the country wish to see a perfect fight in the Independence Day weekend event. Lesnar has a huge fan following and so there is much hype even before the match. Shane Carwin who is the interim holder of the title is sure to give a good fight to Lesnar. Another fight that has been confirmed for the event is between Yoshihiro Akiyama and Wanderlei Silva in a battle of sexy vs. psycho which all UFC betting is looking forward to. Brendan Schaub has a record of (5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) against Chris Tuchscherer’s (18-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC). Both the fighters have proven themselves and the sources close to them say that they are preparing hard for their bout on July 3rd. The UFC 116 would take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the city of Las Vegas and would be aired on the basis of pay per view. Schaub who is widely considered as a great prospect for UFC would be out in the ring looking for his second consecutive win. His last appearance against Chase Gormely in March didn’t last for more than 47 seconds. Schaub is very impressive in the rings and has a knockout win in all of his career victories. None of his wins lasted for more than 87 seconds something UFC betting has taken notice of. Schaub is looking for his second consecutive win following a fast 47-second win over Chase Gormley at UFC in March. Schaub has now posted knockout wins in every career victory. None of the wins has lasted more than 87 seconds. The only loss in Schaub’s record is the defeat that he suffered in the hands of Roy nelson at the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 10. Schaub was the clear favorite to win The Ultimate Fighter season 10. However the winning streak of Schaub was brought to an end in the finals by Roy Nelson who along with the final also won a spot in the already crowded heavyweight division. Schaub soon recovered from the loss that he suffered against Nelson and reminded his fans why he is considered a great prospect by defeating Gormely in the first round of an UFC event. Schaub who has an impressive all knockout wins in his career till now is now all set to face the massive Tuchscherer in UFC 116. Tuchscherer is best remembered for HIS involuntarily neutered loss to Gabrile Gonzanga at the UFC 102 held in last August. Tuchscherer did take a hit on his groin during the match but returned quickly and suffered loss in the hands of Gonzanga. He did put an uninspiring performance in his next match against Tim Hague in UFC 109 but was able to win the fight with a majority decision. Both these fighters are considered good prospects for the Ultimate Fighting Championships. No one is able to clearly predict the potential winner of the fight as both these fighters are equally poised and so have equal chances to win. Let’s see who among these fighters would really move the ladder in the Heavy Weight Division. Are you ready for UFC 116 and some UFC betting? Go to www.here the king of UFC betting. |
